Hello. My name is David Gray. I am in my mid-twenties and stand a lofty 5′ 8″ on a good day. I carry with me a shaggy mop of delicious, chocolate-brown hair, a daft beak-like protrusion eminating from my plump, boyish face and a quietly enthusiastic and inquisitive nature.

I graduated from the Arts Institute at Bournemouth’s Animation Production course in 2006 with a 2:1 grade and an overwhelming sense of despair. My work to date has included character animation for King Rollo Films – productions including Mama Mirabelle’s Home Movies for CBeebies and Humf for Nick Jr. I also designed and animated two short skits for inclusion on Jimmy Carr’s ‘In Concert’ DVD, one of which was chosen for the DVD’s main menu.

In my spare time I enjoy watching films, playing guitar, music of the sixties and seventies and playing computer games. I bought a digital SLR a few months ago and I’ve started to tinker with that too. I adore the animated shorts of the 1930’s, 40’s and 50’s – especially those of Chuck Jones, Bob Clampett and Tex Avery.

Thanks for stopping by!
