My Animation Showreel, 2009

Due to the nature of some projects, it was sometimes necessary to supplement scenes with ‘stock’ or library animation. Every effort has been made to distinguish between these pieces and original animation below. It should be assumed from the outset, unless otherwise stated, that all walk or run cycles (and running to turns etc.) were pre-animated by someone else.

Animation Portfolio, 2009 from David Gray on Vimeo.

Clip 1:  Humf’s (purple creature) intial run in from right to left is stock animation. Everthing else is mine.

Clip 5: Squirrel was animated by someone else.

Clip 9: Uncle Hairy’s walk was animated by someone else.

Clip 16: Uncle Hairy’s stomp and galloping, Loon’s (purple bird) run and Humf’s ‘roar’ were animated by me.

Clip 17: Uncle Hairy’s walk was stock animation.

Clip 20: Uncle Hairy’s walk out from right to left was stock animation, as was Wallace and Humf. Loons’ run and turn were animated by me for an earlier episode and subsequently re-used through-out the series.
